Mojawa Bone Conduction Headphones Land in Australia
Amber Technology is adding to its portfolio of products with the announcement that it has been appointed the exclusive distributor for Mojawa products in Australia and New Zealand.
Known for its bone-conduction headphones, Mojawa was established in 2021 with a patented magnetic levitation bass vibrator that promises better bass performance, which is a weak point for most bone-conduction headphones on the market.
For athletes who need to stay aware of their surroundings while training in public, bone-conduction headphones are an excellent way to enjoy music while staying safe. The haptic technology in the Mojawa headphones is designed to recreate the sense of touch via forces, vibrations and motions.
Peter Amos, Managing Director of Amber Technology, told StereoNET:
Mojawa represents a significant leap forward in audio technology with truly innovative products. We are thrilled to be appointed as the exclusive distributor for Mojawa products in Australia and New Zealand. This partnership underscores our commitment to offering cutting-edge solutions to our customers.
Amber Technology will start with three of Mojawa’s flagship products. The new HaptiFit Terra, announced at CES 2024, is priced at $499 and features AI and health monitoring features for heart rate, oxygen levels, steps, and more. The HaptiFit Terra is also IP68-rated, making it possible to use it for swim training or water sports.
The older Run Plus and Run Air headphones will also be available at $349 and $249, respectively, and all three products will be available online starting April 2024.
Robin Cao, CEO of Mojawa, added:
Amber Technology's extensive experience and proven track record in distributing high-quality technology solutions make them the ideal partner to introduce Mojawa products to the Australian and New Zealand markets. We are confident that this partnership will provide consumers in these regions with access to our innovative bone conduction headphones, including the groundbreaking HaptiFit Terra.

applause awards
Each time StereoNET reviews a product, it is considered for an Applause Award. Winning one marks it out as a design of great quality and distinction – a special product in its class, on the grounds of either performance, value for money, or usually both.
Applause Awards are personally issued by StereoNET’s global Editor-in-Chief, David Price – who has over three decades of experience reviewing hi-fi products at the highest level – after consulting with our senior editorial team. They are not automatically given with all reviews, nor can manufacturers purchase them.
The StereoNET editorial team includes some of the world’s most experienced and respected hi-fi journalists with a vast wealth of knowledge. Some have edited popular English language hi-fi magazines, and others have been senior contributors to famous audio journals stretching back to the late 1970s. And we also employ professional IT and home theatre specialists who work at the cutting edge of today’s technology.
We believe that no other online hi-fi and home cinema resource offers such expert knowledge, so when StereoNET gives an Applause Award, it is a trustworthy hallmark of quality. Receiving such an award is the prerequisite to becoming eligible for our annual Product of the Year awards, awarded only to the finest designs in their respective categories. Buyers of hi-fi, home cinema, and headphones can be sure that a StereoNET Applause Award winner is worthy of your most serious attention.
