MOON Launches 250i v2 Integrated at Montreal Show
MOON's new 250i v2 integrated amplifier will be making its show debut at Montreal Audiofest 2023.
MOON is set to unveil its 250i v2 integrated amplifier at Montreal Audiofest, held at the Hotel Bonaventure from March 24th to 26th.
Visitors to the show will hear this latest version of a MOON classic for the first time, with the 250i v2 joining other MOON products to create a complete system from source to speakers. The MOON room will feature the new 250i v2, a 280D streaming DAC and a pair of Voice 22 loudspeakers - unfortunately, not the Le Bicar versions, though.
The new version of the best-selling 250i integrated amplifier features an upgraded circuit design, a new shield for the power supply and an MM phono preamplifier. Meanwhile, the 280D is a fully asynchronous DSD 256 / 32-bit streaming DAC and includes the proprietary MiND 2 module. Finally, MOON's first foray into the loudspeaker arena - the Voice 22. The speaker has received global acclaim, including StereoNET's Applause Award.
Also, MOON's room features an Acoustic Science Bass trap and Vicoustic quadratic diffusers, with the MOON team carefully designing and calibrating the acoustics.
Visitors will also enjoy a live performance from the renowned Montreal band GIVE. Created by singer Caroline St-Louis and Stephan Ritch, GIVE is a musical collective with a varied repertoire that promises to enthrall the audience.
Find MOON in room Outremont 5 of the Montreal Audiofest.

applause awards
Each time StereoNET reviews a product, it is considered for an Applause Award. Winning one marks it out as a design of great quality and distinction – a special product in its class, on the grounds of either performance, value for money, or usually both.
Applause Awards are personally issued by StereoNET’s global Editor-in-Chief, David Price – who has over three decades of experience reviewing hi-fi products at the highest level – after consulting with our senior editorial team. They are not automatically given with all reviews, nor can manufacturers purchase them.
The StereoNET editorial team includes some of the world’s most experienced and respected hi-fi journalists with a vast wealth of knowledge. Some have edited popular English language hi-fi magazines, and others have been senior contributors to famous audio journals stretching back to the late 1970s. And we also employ professional IT and home theatre specialists who work at the cutting edge of today’s technology.
We believe that no other online hi-fi and home cinema resource offers such expert knowledge, so when StereoNET gives an Applause Award, it is a trustworthy hallmark of quality. Receiving such an award is the prerequisite to becoming eligible for our annual Product of the Year awards, awarded only to the finest designs in their respective categories. Buyers of hi-fi, home cinema, and headphones can be sure that a StereoNET Applause Award winner is worthy of your most serious attention.
