MULTI-ROOM AUDIO MARKET HEATS UP AS PIONEER RELEASE MRX-3

Multi-room audio is king as far as manufacturers are concerned right now. Pioneer's MRX-3 is a wireless streaming standalone speaker that acts as another zone in your whole home audio ecosystem.

And while filling the house with sound is important, connectivity options trumps all else. The Pioneer MRX-3 delivers this is spades with its multitude of streaming and connection options. Whether it be Spotify or Tidal, music stored on a local server or on your mobile phone or tablet, the MRX-3 supports all relevant streaming standards with Chromecast built-in, AirPlay and PlayFi. Or you can connect directly via Bluetooth or WiFi.

Thanks to FireConnect the MRX-3 can even access sources located in other rooms, which could include a turntable or sound from a television, as long as these are connected to a FireConnect compatible device.

All Pioneer's networkable receivers in the range are Fireconnect equipped, along with DTS Play-Fi. Other brands are now offering FireConnect compatibility which results in a simple and convenient way to build a whole-home audio solution.

You can also use more than one MRX-3 unit to create a stereo pair.

The compact yet powerful MRX-3 features a 2-way speaker design using 2 x 70mm woofers and a 26mm tweeter. There's also a 3.5mm aux in.

Complete control of the MRX-3 is easy with the Pioneer Remote App for iOS and Android, as well as control of other compatible Pioneer streaming products.
