PHILIPS HUE RELEASES OUTDOOR SMART LIGHTING RANGE
One of the leaders in plug 'n play smart lighting, Philips Hue, has released its outdoor range of smart lights that are available now at JB Hi-Fi stores across the country.
It's been a long wait for those already invested in the Hue platform as the range was available in the US since earlier this year. Just in time for a hot Aussie Summer though, the range which includes Pedestal Lights and Spot Lights has landed down under.
Like the rest of Hue's smart lights, you can control them from the Hue app for iOS or Android, with everything from creating scenes to setting home and away schedules, all from the touch of a button.

Creating light scenes to suit your mood, or to add a touch of colour to your living space, can now be extended to your outdoor area.
Install outdoor lights that connect to the Philips Hue smart lighting system and enjoy endless possibilities of bringing your outdoor to life with light. For some applications, warm white light is all you need. For others, you may want to add a pop of color, selecting from 16 million colors or a predefined scene in the Philips Hue App. It’s all within your control.
The outdoor range includes the Pedestal Kit ($219.95 RRP), Pedestal Extension ($159.95 RRP), Outdoor Spot Kit ($169.95), Outdoor Spot Extension ($129.95 RRP). 16ft IP67-rated Extension cables are also sold for $24.95 RRP each.
