POWER YOUR SYSTEM WITH ISOTEK’S EVO3 CABLES

The long-awaited EVO3 Initium and EVO3 Premier power cables from the gurus at IsoTek in England have returned to Australia.

'Noise' has long been considered the enemy when it comes to any audio or video system and with an increasing amount of noise-inducing appliances and gadgets in our homes, it's no wonder the noise problem is getting bigger.

IsoTek aims to solve this with cables that don't act as antennas picking up stray signals. It's new EVO3 power cables are designed with conductors arranged in a parallel construction with a slight rotational twist, which is a proven and effective way to block out noise and interference.

According to IsoTek:

The EVO3 Initium and EVO3 Premier power cables feature conductors of exceptionally high purity, and fewer impurities in the cable mean power flows more freely and smoothly to your system, allowing your sound system to work to its full potential.

EVO3 Initium

The EVO3 Initium’s conductors are made of 99.9999% Oxygen Free Copper. The extremely high purity levels of the copper not only make for superior connectivity, but also mean that Initium cables are more durable, and less likely to fracture or degrade over time than supermarket power cables.

EVO3 Premier

Like the Initium, the EVO3 Premier features conductors made of 99.9999% Oxygen Free Copper. The conductors are also silver-plated, as silver is considered an excellent conductor and when combined with a high purity copper, it provides impressive electrical properties.

The EVO3 Premier also features a polyethylene dielectric. It also has low-zinc content in the brass used in the connectors, making for improved conduction over the base model's connectors and offering the highest-possible corrosion resistance.

Available now, the EVO3 Initium sells for $129 RRP (1.5m), and the ECO3 Premier sells for $249 RRP (1.5m).

applause awards

Each time StereoNET reviews a product, it is considered for an Applause Award. Winning one marks it out as a design of great quality and distinction – a special product in its class, on the grounds of either performance, value for money, or usually both.

Applause Awards are personally issued by StereoNET’s global Editor-in-Chief, David Price – who has over three decades of experience reviewing hi-fi products at the highest level – after consulting with our senior editorial team. They are not automatically given with all reviews, nor can manufacturers purchase them.

The StereoNET editorial team includes some of the world’s most experienced and respected hi-fi journalists with a vast wealth of knowledge. Some have edited popular English language hi-fi magazines, and others have been senior contributors to famous audio journals stretching back to the late 1970s. And we also employ professional IT and home theatre specialists who work at the cutting edge of today’s technology.

We believe that no other online hi-fi and home cinema resource offers such expert knowledge, so when StereoNET gives an Applause Award, it is a trustworthy hallmark of quality. Receiving such an award is the prerequisite to becoming eligible for our annual Product of the Year awards, awarded only to the finest designs in their respective categories. Buyers of hi-fi, home cinema, and headphones can be sure that a StereoNET Applause Award winner is worthy of your most serious attention.
