Vogels releases the stylish and secure COMFORT TV Mounting Series

Vogel's Mounting Solutions has launched its new COMFORT Series of TV mounting solutions. The range can mount screens between 19" and 100", holding up to 75kg and aims to serve the middle segment of the custom installation market.

After extensive consumer research, Vogel's says it has found that one of the main segments looking for mounting solutions are families, especially those with young children. Because of this, Vogel's has tailored the COMFORT Series.

The COMFORT Series accommodates larger TV sizes, a greater weight capacity, and longer arm reach on full-motion products, building on Vogel's outgoing Wall series. XL models of the COMFORT Series can reach up to 67cm from the wall, greater than the previous 61cm, and turn up to 180°.

The extended arms, when paired with the TiltAnchor feature, can be easily locked and released. After a flicking over the TiltAnchor part of the mount, it'll securely stay in place until triggered again.

But if the screen needs to move around, focusing on a different part of the room, like in front of a play area or kid's couch, Vogel's OneFinger Movement makes this even easier. Using PTFE-coated bearings, users can effortlessly move the TV to the desired position with just one finger.

And for people who want to maintain the high-tech, pure look of an OLED TV, Vogel's has launched an OLED version in the COMFORT Series which seamlessly connects to the back of an OLED TV, so homeowners get to keep their minimalistic design.

The fixed and tilt versions in this series feature the unique ClickLoc  safety system. An audible 'click' lets users know when the screen is fixed in place.

On the integrator side, the COMFORT Series pairs with the free DrillRight Augmented Reality app, ensuring the mount is placed in the correct position. Once the position is set, a drilling template, including screws and Fischer DuoPower plugs, is standard, so installation is simple.

COMFORT wall mounts are designed to last. Even after years of intensive use, they remain just as strong, safe and stylish. To back this up, Vogel's offers a 10-year warranty on all wall mounts in the COMFORT Series.

Building on their global Corporate Social Responsibility, Vogel's push towards a sustainable future is led by their For Tomorrow initiative. It's designed to reduce their CO2 footprint and their latest packaging advancement by using 95% less single-use plastics and all Styrofoam replaced by paper pulp. This makes the entire packaging recyclable.

COMFORT Series wooden floor stand

The COMFORT range also offers an oak floor stand with an anthracite-coloured epoxy-lacquered steel base for those that aren't in the market for a wall-mounted solution. The floor stand fits TVs between 44" and 77" and a weight of up to 50kg.

The floor-mounted version stands tall and slim, all within a timeless design. The upright section is made of sustainably produced, varnished oak wood resulting in a uniquely stylish finish that will bring a touch of class to any living space.

The wooden floor-mounted TV stand boasts the same features as others in the COMFORT Series like TiltAnchor, OneFinger Movement and ClickLoc.

The Vogel's COMFORT Series is available now.

applause awards

Each time StereoNET reviews a product, it is considered for an Applause Award. Winning one marks it out as a design of great quality and distinction – a special product in its class, on the grounds of either performance, value for money, or usually both.

Applause Awards are personally issued by StereoNET’s global Editor-in-Chief, David Price – who has over three decades of experience reviewing hi-fi products at the highest level – after consulting with our senior editorial team. They are not automatically given with all reviews, nor can manufacturers purchase them.

The StereoNET editorial team includes some of the world’s most experienced and respected hi-fi journalists with a vast wealth of knowledge. Some have edited popular English language hi-fi magazines, and others have been senior contributors to famous audio journals stretching back to the late 1970s. And we also employ professional IT and home theatre specialists who work at the cutting edge of today’s technology.

We believe that no other online hi-fi and home cinema resource offers such expert knowledge, so when StereoNET gives an Applause Award, it is a trustworthy hallmark of quality. Receiving such an award is the prerequisite to becoming eligible for our annual Product of the Year awards, awarded only to the finest designs in their respective categories. Buyers of hi-fi, home cinema, and headphones can be sure that a StereoNET Applause Award winner is worthy of your most serious attention.
