Questyle Releases M15 Portable DAC/Headphone Amplifier

Proven popularity with head-fi and portable audio enthusiasts already, Questyle says its new M15 Portable DAC/Headphone Amp is good enough to connect to your hi-fi system also.
It wasn't until the middle of the decade that pundits really took notice, though, firstly with the company QP1r DAP, and then its 'Gold Stack' reference system that remains the benchmark system for many headphones enthusiasts.
With 5G cellular technology becoming more accessible and more music platforms offering lossless audio streaming services, mobile hi-res audio has become a popular way to enjoy high-fidelity music.
Questyle's new M15 is a portable lossless DAC with a headphone amplifier that promises "uncompromising performance and best-in class fidelity", but don't limit yourself to only listening "on-the-go". Questyle warns not to be fooled by its small size, as the M15 offers the ultimate portable audio experience, "be it through your Headphones or your Hi-Fi System."
The M15 contains two of Questyle's patented CMA (Current Mode Amplification) SiP modules for a total of four CMA amp engines. This quadruple drive amplification circuitry "gives an outstandingly strong output that can drive almost any headphone", says the company. It's Current Mode Amplifiers are characterised by their small footprint, low voltage operation, and minimal power consumption. Current Mode amplification has a naturally low impedance, affording the M15 a bandwidth up to 1MHz, distortion as low as 0.0003%, and the ability to reproduce every detail hidden deep within any track. The M15 features the highly acclaimed ESS ES9281AC flagship DAC, which can handle up to PCM384kHz/32bit and DSD256.
The M15 supports almost all music streaming platforms worldwide, including Apple Music, Tidal, and QQ Music. It fully supports and decodes ALAC, FLAC, MQA, and other lossless formats, says Questyle.
Available now, the Questyle M15 Portable DAC/Headphone Amp currently sells for £222.73 direct from the Questyle Shop. Stay tuned for a comprehensive StereoNET review coming shortly.

applause awards
Each time StereoNET reviews a product, it is considered for an Applause Award. Winning one marks it out as a design of great quality and distinction – a special product in its class, on the grounds of either performance, value for money, or usually both.
Applause Awards are personally issued by StereoNET’s global Editor-in-Chief, David Price – who has over three decades of experience reviewing hi-fi products at the highest level – after consulting with our senior editorial team. They are not automatically given with all reviews, nor can manufacturers purchase them.
The StereoNET editorial team includes some of the world’s most experienced and respected hi-fi journalists with a vast wealth of knowledge. Some have edited popular English language hi-fi magazines, and others have been senior contributors to famous audio journals stretching back to the late 1970s. And we also employ professional IT and home theatre specialists who work at the cutting edge of today’s technology.
We believe that no other online hi-fi and home cinema resource offers such expert knowledge, so when StereoNET gives an Applause Award, it is a trustworthy hallmark of quality. Receiving such an award is the prerequisite to becoming eligible for our annual Product of the Year awards, awarded only to the finest designs in their respective categories. Buyers of hi-fi, home cinema, and headphones can be sure that a StereoNET Applause Award winner is worthy of your most serious attention.
