ARCAM, JBL SYNTHESIS, MARK LEVINSON AND REVEL AT BRISTOL HI-FI SHOW

HARMAN Luxury Audio Group gathers the power and innovation of five renowned brands – Arcam, JBL Synthesis, Lexicon, Mark Levinson, and Revel. The Bristol Hi-Fi Show 2019 is the place to experience the latest models from four of the quintet.

Each of the stable's marques brings its own array of skills and, as with all of history’s best teams, bringing the individuals together, and the overall performance becomes even more special.

Visitors to Stand 12 in the Bristol Suite will quickly get a feel for the ‘DNA’ of JBL Synthesis. Founded in 1992 – JBL itself dates back to the 1940s – the last 27 years have seen the JBL Synthesis teams engineer the most advanced signal processors, equalisers, amplifiers and loudspeakers, delivering truly outstanding products to music and movie fans.

The current line counts instantly recognisable models, including the L100 Classic. Take it from someone who experienced them at The Windsor Hi-Fi Show, you must hear them too. This beautiful new speaker is the modern take on the legendary L100 and, as with all JBL Synthesis models, it shines brightly thanks into its maker’s cross-pollination of excellence across all areas of audio: from the studio to the stage, to the home.

You can get ears and eyes on the famed American maker’s new 5000 Series, as well as lust over its No 515 turntable, No 519 Audio Player No 523 preamplifier, plus a brace of No 536 monaural amplifiers. applause awards

Each time StereoNET reviews a product, it is considered for an Applause Award. Winning one marks it out as a design of great quality and distinction – a special product in its class, on the grounds of either performance, value for money, or usually both.

Applause Awards are personally issued by StereoNET’s global Editor-in-Chief, David Price – who has over three decades of experience reviewing hi-fi products at the highest level – after consulting with our senior editorial team. They are not automatically given with all reviews, nor can manufacturers purchase them.

The StereoNET editorial team includes some of the world’s most experienced and respected hi-fi journalists with a vast wealth of knowledge. Some have edited popular English language hi-fi magazines, and others have been senior contributors to famous audio journals stretching back to the late 1970s. And we also employ professional IT and home theatre specialists who work at the cutting edge of today’s technology.

We believe that no other online hi-fi and home cinema resource offers such expert knowledge, so when StereoNET gives an Applause Award, it is a trustworthy hallmark of quality. Receiving such an award is the prerequisite to becoming eligible for our annual Product of the Year awards, awarded only to the finest designs in their respective categories. Buyers of hi-fi, home cinema, and headphones can be sure that a StereoNET Applause Award winner is worthy of your most serious attention.
